Children and Youth Ministries

At Harmony United Methodist Church, we offer a wide range of opportunities for children and youth to grow in knowing Jesus Christ. 

Worship:

Throughout the year, we provide opportunties for the children and youth to participate in worship, such as; children handbells, children's choir, helping with offering, alcolyting, helping with communion, etc. 

Bible Study: 

On Sunday mornings (10:00 am) we offer opportunities for children and youth (all ages) to grow in their understanding of God through Bible study.  These studies are intended to connect the children and youth to God's love and to teach them how they can live in that love.

Wednesday Night Disciplship:

Youth Ministry- 6th-12th grade Youth meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday Nights starting in September and ending in May.  Youth meets 6:45pm-7:30pm (Supper provided at 5:45pm).  This is a time of food, Bible Study, Fellowship and fun.  

Confirmation classes are offered at specific times.

Children Ministry-TBA

Outreach/Missions:

Several times a year, we offer opportunities for the children and youth to be involved in outreaches and missions, such as; Local and National Mission trips, Hot Dof Outreaches, Drive-Through Nativity, Fall Festival, Easter Egg Hunts, Bible Collection, Matthew 25 Food/Clothing Pantry, Visits to Shut-Ins, etc.

Other Children and Youth Opportunties:

Retreats, Trips, Youth Local Gatherings, etc.

Adult Ministries  

Harmony United Methodist offers opportunities throughout the year for adults to grow in their faith.

Worship:

We offer opportunities to participate in worship, such as; being a usher or greeter, singing in the choir, helping with communion, etc.

Bible Study:

At Harmony United Methodist, we offer three Adult Sunday Morning Bible Studies (10:00 am), ranging from video driven to lecture base. 

Monday Night Bible Studies:

Through the year we offer short term studies on Monday nights from 6:30pm-7:45pm.  These studies are design to take us deeper into understanding the Scriptures and how it relates to our lives.  These studies can last anywhere from 4-weeks to 12-weeks.
